DONATE TO HELP SAVE STRAY ANIMALS LIKE MANNY
Every year, thousands of stray animals come into our care, each one desperate for a second chance.
Many arrive injured, scared, and in urgent need of medical attention. But no matter how tough the journey, we never give up on them.
This Stray Animal Day, April 4th, we need your help to raise $30,000 to provide urgent medical care, food, and shelter for strays who have no one else.
AWLQ’s dedicated teams work tirelessly to provide medical care, comfort, and, most importantly, hope to thousands of animals just like Manny. We ensure that every animal, no matter how big or small, gets the love and attention they need until they find their forever home. But we can’t do it alone.
Without the support of compassionate people like you, these animals would have little hope. Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue providing care, shelter, and medical treatment for animals in need. Donations are what enable these incredible transformations and second chances.
Join us in making a difference. Donate now to support our critical mission.

MANNY'S INSPIRING JOURNEY
Manny was just nine months old when he was found wandering the streets—starving, covered in mange, and infested with fleas. His frail body and sad eyes told a heartbreaking story.
When he arrived at our Community Vet Clinic, our team was shocked by his condition. His skin was raw and painful, and he was too weak to stand for long. But our vets acted fast, determined to save his life.
Manny was treated for extreme demodectic mange, malnourishment, several parasites and painful internal issues. He was very slowly fed a veterinary-prescription diet to get his weight back up. He was gently bathed in medicated washes. And through it all, despite his ordeal, he remained the most kind and loving dog. Just grateful to finally be cared for.
To keep him comfortable, his dedicated foster carer dressed him in soft pyjamas to protect his fragile skin. She feared he might not make it. But slowly, with love and care, Manny began to heal.
After four months, Manny was unrecognisable—healthy, happy, and ready for a forever home. His transformation was only possible because of the generosity of people like you.

YOUR GIFT CAN SAVE LIVES
Our welfare work is 100% donor funded.
Manny is just one of the 11,000 animals we save every year, but we can’t do it without you. Cases like Manny’s quickly add up to thousands of dollars in vet care. And with no government funding for our welfare work, we rely on the generosity of people like you to provide the critical care, medical treatment, food and shelter these animals need. Whether it's $50 to care for an animal for a day, $100 for a vet exam, or $550 to desex a litter of puppies, every dollar helps us make these transformations possible.
This Stray Animal Day, your gift can help transform the life of an animal in need. Please, don’t wait—help us reach our $30,000 goal to save more strays needing our support.

Impact of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred
AWLQ’s operations have been severely impacted by the recent cyclone, which forced the closure of our Animal Rehoming Centres and Community Vet Clinics, halting the vital services we provide to the animals in our care and requiring an exhaustive emergency evacuation of nearly 300 animals. We are now seeing an overwhelming number of animals in need of urgent treatment, shelter and care. The support of our community has never been more crucial. Every donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to helping these animals receive the medical attention, food and love they deserve. Together, we can make a truly positive difference in their recovery and future.
Thank you for being part of this livesaving mission...
