YOUR KINDNESS TODAY ENSURES THAT NO PET IS LEFT BEHIND
When you give no one misses out.
At Animal Welfare League Queensland, we go above and beyond for animals who are scared, sick, or facing complex medical challenges and it’s your kindness that makes this possible. In fact, this Stray Animal Day, your kindness can change a life.
Izzy is an older dog, who arrived at AWLQ with dental disease, matting and pain.
From the moment she arrived until the day she found her forever home, our committed team of vets, animal attendants and volunteers worked tirelessly to provide her with the support she needed.
However, this level of care comes with its challenges and expenses. We cannot do it alone.
Today, more animals just like Izzy are waiting- older pets, urgent medical cases, the ones who require extra time, treatment, and compassion. Your donation can provide surgery, medication, and comfort to an animal who has nowhere else to turn.
Your donation today can truly change lives. Your generosity directly impacts the well-being, health, and happiness of these companion animals who rely on us.
Be the reason animals find...
SAFETY
11,283 animals cared for in the past year.
HOME
7,311 animals found loving homes last year.
HOPE
5,962 animals nurtured by our foster carers.
LOVE
2,364 lost pets reunited with their loving families.
Izzy isn't the only one.
Every year, thousands of surrendered and stray animals find their way to our shelter, seeking veterinary treatment, refuge and care.
When Phineas arrived in our care, he was terrified and seriously unwell. He needed urgent surgery for several issues and required strict quarantine with round-the-clock treatment for Panleukopenia.
At every step, we chose to say “yes” to Phineas despite the significant cost and complexity of his care.
Today, he’s healthy, pain-free, and thriving in a loving home.
Complex cases like Phineas’ cost thousands of dollars. But your donation means we can continue to provide life-saving treatment, expert care, and hope to the animals who need us most.
Please give now. Your generosity can ensure another animal like Phineas gets the care they deserve.
