When we first met Oliver, a little Lhasa Apso, his tiny body was buried beneath severe matting- thick, painful knots pulling tightly at his skin. His nails had grown so long they made every step uncomfortable, and he was clearly suffering.
No dog should have to live like that.
But because you care, Oliver didn’t have to stay that way for long.
Our team stepped in providing immediate veterinary care, and grooming Oliver to bring back his comfort and dignity.
Because of you, Oliver is now resting safely in care - healing, learning to trust again, and beginning to show glimpses of the happy, affectionate dog he was always meant to be.

You are keeping beloved pets with their owners. Jack* had recently left an unsafe situation and was navigating homelessness, and the cost of accessing microchipping and desexing services for his two cats felt completely out of reach.
But thanks to fellow animal-lovers like you, he was able to access AWLQ’s CAT desexing program. Both of his cats were desexed and microchipped, easing anxiety around their health, and improving both their behaviour and safety.
